Disenchanted

Poisoned apples. Glass slippers. Who needs ’em?!

Not Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses in the hilarious hit musical that’s anything but Grimm. Forget the princesses you think you know – the original storybook heroines have come to life to set the record straight!


Dead Certain

Boyd Denning is an out-of-work mortuary assistant with the worst luck in the world. Boyd leaves his small Iowa town and travels to the “big city” of Denver, where he gets a job driving a hearse for a funeral home. After a chance meeting with a stranger, Boyd accepts a mysterious second job. Maybe his luck is finally turning! But he soon discovers the woman of his dreams is on the “list”. Suddenly, Boyd is “Dead Certain” he can’t do this job.

A man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. What will happen next? Don’t miss this a hilarious parody on spy stories with only four actors playing multiple roles — sometimes all at once!


Harvey
March 29 – April 15, 2023
American Classic Series

This season’s installment of our American Classic Series is fun family comedy with a lot of heart. Elwood P. Dowd is an affable man who claims to have an unseen (and presumably imaginary) friend Harvey. When Elwood’s sister decides to have him committed, a comedy of errors ensues. The doctor mistakenly commits his sister instead of Elwood, and when the truth comes out, the search is on for Elwood and his invisible companion!


In the Heights
May 17 – June 10, 2023

In the Heights is an uplifting musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, New York City. The show was nominated for thirteen Tony Awards and won four, including Best Musical!

Amahl and the Night Visitors & A Christmas Carol

A musical event in partnership with the University of Utah’s School of Music. Also including A Christmas Carol; an opera by Utah locals Mike Leavitt and Anthony Buck in a new adaptation of the beloved Dickens’ classic.


Five Carols

In 1954 suburbia, five best friends (all named Carol) set out to present a Christmas program that people “will remember for the rest of their lives” at the local high school. Unfortunately, egos, miscommunication and an unexpected power outage turn their quest for perfection into a madcap misadventure. Bursting with wonderful new songs and lush arrangements of Christmas classics, this riotous romp is destined to become a yuletide favorite
